wings - a future tattoo

i've always considered getting wings for tattoos, but i don't wanna get just ANY wings; they need to be unique, special
and i know that if i could get any kind of wings, it would HAVE to be Maleficent's. not just because of my love for the film and the character, but because the wings themselves are so badass, with their pointed shape and feathers and talons, especially considering that they're FAIRY wings of all things (there's a joke in there somewhere about me getting "fairy" wings, but i don't wanna go insulting myself, HA ), then of course there is the obvious symbolic quality the wings hold
at first i wanted them folded down my back, but i thought "no, they shouldn't be folded, they should be SPREAD!". i knew there wouldn't be enough room on my back, then i thought "i can get them to spread across my arms! that way, when my arms lifted and folded, the wings would fold as well! "
i only just came up with this concept the other day, so i'm not going to get them inked on just yet. i want to wait a while and if after time passes and i still want them, i'll get them. i especially need them to be done by a damn good artist; i want them as detailed and real-looking as FUCKING POSSIBLE, not just outlined as i did here
btw, yes, i did draw this on myself, but it was NOT easy; moving my arms this way and that to draw them was easy, but the hard part was craning my neck at the right angle so i could actually see what i was doing. and i would have done both side, but i'm right-handed, and that was painful enough; doing it left handed would be a goddam DISAASTER lmao
